X-412


X-412 is designed by Niels Jeppesen, 1991 and manufactured until 2004. about 250 boats vas deliverd.
MK2 came in 1994 (PrimeX is MK2 1995). On the MK2 changed keelprofle and rudder, and "extra door" to the front closet disappeared in favor of the longer couch.
MK3 came in 2000 with further changes at the keel (was 10 cm shallower) and comprehensive (up to ceiling) cabinets in galley.
X-412 is available as a three-cabin, 2 cabin and 4 cabin versions (Primex is a 3-cabin). Available in Model: clasic, and modern (modern, as PrimeX, is most common). This implies a kitchenette on one side (see above).
Clasic, L-galley for the decline.
The keel weighs 3500 kg and is the usual X-way yacht iron at the top and lead in the bottom. The keel is secured in the frame as the mast and shrouds are sitting in.

The engine has varied between Yanmar and Volvo Penta 39-40 hp. PrimeX has a new engine since 2008. A Volvo Penta D2-40 with S-drive. 40 hp.

We have upgraded PrimeX since we bought her in Hamburg in spring 2007. Among the things we've done is:

New engine and drive after the accident at the old VP2040. (2008)
New sails (main and G2) from the UK. (2010)
New instruments for short-circuit in the "brain box" on the old KVH instruments. Nexus NX2 instrument sits there now, thanks to Pantaenius. (2010)
Plotter and various instruments have morderniserats, for exampel Weather fax, battery meter, AIS receivers.
Spray Hood (2007) and cockpit cover (2008)
Isolation Transformer, Mastervolt volts 2009 (to prevent further engine damage)
